Music plays a HUGE part in my writing process. I typically
listen to Pandora or YouTube while I create my stories and compile a collection
of songs that I feel represent my characters or the situations they face as
each novel unfolds. It’s a rare occasion that my creativity demands silence
(And that’s a good thing. I’m a mother of two rowdy boys. Quiet doesn’t exist
in my house.). I thought it would be fun

Fun Facts about Morgan’s Hunter
Morgan’s Hunter is the first novel I ever wrote. I didn’t
even know I wanted to be a writer until the idea for their story ‘popped’ into
my head.
In less than forty-eight hours, Morgan’s Hunter started
climbing Amazon’s Hot 100 New releases (in Romantic Suspense).
Since the October (2012) release of The Bodyguards of L.A.
County, Morgan’s Hunter has been a top selling e-book and paperback in the
romantic suspense genre, topping out in the number 18 spot on Amazon’s best
sellers (Romantic suspense—paid).
Readers seem to either love Morgan or hate her. Luckily, more readers love her very STRONG
independent streak. <grin>.
An actual Special Forces soldier in the United States Army
consulted with me to perfect the opening scene of chapter one.
Out of all the male characters I’ve written, I have the
biggest crush on Hunter—a muscular hottie with blue eyes, a sexy dimple in his
chin, and one hell of an attitude with just a few sweet spots mixed in. YUUUUM!
Hundreds of hours of research were necessary to create
Morgan and Hunter’s story. Documentaries (Yellowstone, military, animal
tracking), face-to-face interviews, internet reading… the list goes on and
on!
Morgan’s Hunter was supposed to be a single stand-alone
book, until Ethan and Sarah (Hunter’s friends) begged me to tell their story,
then Hailey and Austin. Halfway through the making of MH, The Bodyguards of
L.A. County was born.
